Description: Pipetto and his two comrades are on leave: they stroll around the city chasing women, until they meet a very attractive one at the marketplace. They offer to help her bringing the shopping bags home. Arrived at home, she asks them to wait in the kitchen; meanwhile she goes to call her husband, who turns out to be their captain. The jealous husband rushes straight to the kitchen to surprise the three reckless soldiers and inflict them a solemn punishment. The video is a copy from the film print held by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema and previously restored by the EYE Filmmuseum: 35mm, positive, acetate, 146 m, 8’ at 18 fps, black and white, Dutch intertitles, silent.
